This policy concerns the website and pre-engagement inquiries. If we accept you as a client, our engagement letter, professional obligations, and any service-specific notices may also apply.

Please do not send social insurance numbers, banking credentials, passwords, tax slips, identification documents, or other highly sensitive records through the inquiry form. The form is intended for preliminary intake only and does not support document uploads.
When you use the website, our systems and service providers may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure it, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, request and security logs, browser or device information, timestamps, and anti-abuse signals.
Our inquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse. Turnstile evaluates browser and device signals and returns a verification result to us. We also use IP-based rate limiting to protect the inquiry form and staff login from misuse.
We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers or behavioural advertising cookies, and we do not currently operate a public-site analytics program. Authorized staff login uses session cookies that are necessary for authentication and security.

The website uses rules based on the answers you submit to assign an internal inquiry category and identify time-sensitive matters. This helps staff prioritize and route inquiries for human review. The triage does not automatically accept or reject a prospective client, does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice, and does not create a professional engagement.
We obtain consent in a form appropriate to the nature of the information and the circumstances. By choosing to submit the inquiry form, you consent to our processing the information for the purposes described at the point of collection and in this policy.
You may decline to provide optional information. If required intake information is not provided, we may be unable to assess or respond to the inquiry. You may withdraw consent to future use where the law permits, subject to legal, professional, contractual, and reasonable notice requirements. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

When information is no longer required, we securely delete, destroy, or anonymize it, subject to legal and technical constraints. If an inquiry becomes a client engagement, the engagement's document-retention requirements will apply.
